On Jan. 26, members of the Copiague Middle School SADD club sold pieces of tape to raise funds for the Victoria Trachte Scholarship, which presents a scholarship to a graduating senior at Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School. The individual pieces of tape were used to stick art teacher Travis White to the wall. In total, $200 was raised for the scholarship fund during the one-day, lunch time fundraiser.
